“ Ok, this was my first time at a Steak 'n Shake. I've wanted to try it for a while but just got around to it today. I got the #1, which is a steak burger with cheese, pickles, onions, and ketchup. It was delicious. It also came with fries, and I got a shake instead of a soda. The fries were really super thin, and they had very little salt, unlike that place with the big yellow M that puts way too much salt. They tasted great and were just the right amount of crispy. I imagine since they are so thin, they cook faster than other places, and you actually get more volume in the sleeve they come in. The shake I chose, and it was a tough decision because they had a lot of choices, the Reeses Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake, and it was great. Full of chunks of the peanut butter cups. I'm happy to have finally tried this place, I'll be back. It cost just over 10 also. ”

“ I love Steak & Shake. When we come to the area on vacation, we try to make it here for at least one meal while here. I love the flavor. It's so different from the typical fast food restaurants, and that is a HUGE reason for us coming. Their shakes are SECOND TO NONE, thick and creamy! I love the vintage style inside, too. Service is quick, too, as you're not waiting around to be served, their fast. The only 2 things I didn't like this last time we were there 8.2.24, was they no longer have people at the entrance to take orders, everything is done via touch screen and I don't like that. I can't imagine how hard that could be for elderly customers. I also didn't like that you had to scan a receipt to obtain your drinks. That was odd. Idk. This wasn't like this the last time we came, and although I didn't like these changes, it wouldn't deter me from coming again. Their food is great here, and worth the visit. ”

The place could get a better cleaning as the floors feel sticky. The staff are okay and good thing you order using a computer. Plenty of parking. The bathroom is relatively clean. You can get water for free. Soft drinks are operated using scanned barcode. ”
